The resort Seefeld distinguishes itself with sporty and rustic charm. At an average elevation of 1,200 m, the region is positively enchanting, nestled between the Alpenpark, Karwendelgebirge range, Wildmoos, and the Wetterstein mountain range with a unique picture-book landscape. The region is however far from sleepy. Seefeld hosts the annual World Cup for Nordic Combination and has twice hosted the Winter Olympic Games! With a little luck, you might just share the gondola with one of your favourite winter sport athletes.
Remember if you don't find quite what you are looking for you can always give us a call. We are ready to help you find your perfect alpine holiday. Or perhaps you might like to consider an alternative destination? For example have you considered Kuusamo (Ruka) in Finland? - If you choose to stay in one of our Ruka chalets, you can look forward to an upbeat resort only 50 miles from the arctic circle, with a ski area comprising a mixture of open and forest terrain, in a region known for good snow. Or perhaps as a possible alternative suggestion how about Sestriere in Italy? - Our chalets in Sestriere enjoy Europe’s first purpose built resort, which was designed and built in the 1930’s and hosted the 2006 winter Olympics. With high altitude west facing slopes, Sestriere was built for snow. [Less]
